Kunming's best-known wet market has hundreds of stalls of wild mushrooms, flowers, tropical fruit and Yunnan vegetables you won't see elsewhere, plus rows of snack counters. Try tofu-pudding noodles, sweet fermented rice wine, grilled rushan cheese and leaf-wrapped grilled fish, then buy fruit for later. It has become a sight in its own right, so the snack lanes get crowded.
