Green Lake before 9 am: dancers, choirs and winter gulls
Green Lake, Kunming
Early morning is when Green Lake belongs to Kunming's retirees: tai chi and fan-dance groups, amateur choirs and card games along the causeways. From about November to March, black-headed gulls winter on the lake. Walk the loop, then go for noodles in the lanes nearby.
