Douhua mixian is Kunming's other breakfast noodle: rice noodles topped with soft tofu pudding, soy sauce, chili oil and pickled greens, all stirred together. Chenxi has made it for about 20 years on Qianju Street, a short walk west of Green Lake. It's lighter than small-pot noodles and very cheap.
