From late November to mid-December, a tea plantation on Wuliang Mountain turns pink as rows of winter-flowering cherry trees bloom between the green tea bushes. It's one of the few big flower sights in Yunnan in early winter, and the curving terraces look good from almost any angle.
What locals sayPhotographers say the pink-and-green terraces are worth the long drive at peak bloom and a letdown a week too early.
