Rehai: see the Big Boiling Pot, then soak 20 minutes at a time

Rehai, Tengchong

Tengchong's biggest geothermal area has boiling pools, sulfur vents and eggs you can cook in the springs, the most famous being the Big Boiling Pot. Walk the boardwalks in the late afternoon, then stay for a hot-spring soak after dark.

What locals sayReviews say the steaming springs are impressive but the park is developed and busy; the soak is the part people remember.
