Mingxing has a row of more than 100 old fish caves along the shore, fed by cool spring water. Fish swim in from the lake against the flow, and fishermen traditionally caught them in baskets set deep inside. Beside the caves is a white-sand beach with very clear water, and in good weather you'll see sails out on the lake.
