Manting Park and Zongfo Temple in the mid-afternoon

Manting was once a garden of the Dai royal family, and a side gate leads from it into Zongfo Temple, the region's main Theravada monastery, where young monks study. Go around 3 pm, when the light softens and there is still time before the park closes at about 5 pm.
