Nakeli: an hour on the old Tea Horse Road, not a whole day
Ning'er, north of Pu'er city
Nakeli was a caravan post on the Tea Horse Road that carried Pu'er tea north. Today it's a small village with a covered wind-and-rain bridge (风雨桥) over a stream. It's pleasant for a stroll and lunch if you're driving between Kunming and Pu'er, but small.
