Zhiziluo: an hour in a county town left in the 1970s
Pihe, Fugong county
The seat of the former Bijiang county until 1986, when the county was abolished over fears that the town sat on a huge landslide. The slide never came, and old government buildings, a bank and a post office still stand along quiet streets. One hour is enough.
