Questions people ask

How much does it cost?

It depends on the route, season, vehicle and how much you want us to arrange. We send a clear quote before you commit to anything, and asking is free.

Do your guides speak English?

Yes. We tell you honestly what level to expect for each guide, and match guides to what you want to see — monasteries, trekking, food, photography.

Will you take us to shops?

No. Our trips have no shopping stops and our guides take no commissions. If you want to shop, we’ll point you to fair places and leave the choice to you.

Can you book train tickets?

Yes. We need the exact name and passport number for each traveler. We’ll also tell you which station and how early to arrive.

How do I pay?

We explain the payment options with your quote. Nothing is charged until you have agreed the plan and the price in writing.

Are your drivers and vehicles licensed?

Yes. Our drivers and guides are licensed in Yunnan, and every vehicle is registered for passenger transport and insured. We have cars, 7-seaters and minibuses, so families and groups ride in one vehicle.

I only have a question — is that okay?

Of course. Many people write to us before deciding anything. We’re happy to help.
